Peter A. Miccoli Jr., CFP®, AIF®
Pete was born in western Pennsylvania and raised in New York State. He relocated to Georgia with his family when he was a teen and graduated from the University of Georgia with a BS in education. After graduation, Pete worked in the financial field in Georgia prior to his move to Cincinnati in 1984. He established Miccoli & Associates the same year.
Throughout the past 26 years, the firm has provided financial planning and investment services to both individual and corporate clients, and Pete has conducted numerous seminars in both the Ohio Tri-State area and Georgia. He is licensed to perform financial services in multiple states as a Registered Representative of Commonwealth, which provides a continuity of services to clients who have chosen to relocate. His multifaceted practice covers all areas of planning, including retirement, estate, and wealth management. Pete earned his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification in 1987 and his Accredited Investment Fiduciary® certification in 2009, holds the Series 7 and 63 securities registrations (through Commonwealth Financial Network®), and holds the Ohio life, health, and variable annuity license. He is also an Investment Adviser Representative with Commonwealth Financial Network®.
Outside the office, Pete and his wife, Lisa, are very active with their two young children. Pete enjoys traveling with his family and being an assistant coach for his children's sports activities. In his free time, he likes golfing, working out, and attending college and professional sporting events.
Barry E. Ahr, CFP®, CPA®, AIF®
Barry, a graduate of the University of Cincinnati, has been involved in the financial services industry since 1982. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), an Accredited Investment Fiduciary® (AIF®), and has received the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification from the College of Financial Planning in Denver, Colorado.
Barry is a member of several industry-related organizations, including the American Institute of CPAs, the Financial Planning Association (FPA), and the Cincinnati Estate Planning Council. Maintaining these professional designations requires a commitment to continuing education. This allows Barry to remain current and open to new planning strategies, investment options, and changes in the income and estate tax laws.
As one of several financial advisors affiliated with Commonwealth Financial Network® in the Cincinnati and northern Kentucky area, Barry receives extensive training from the leading national experts in retirement and distribution planning, as well as investment management.
Barry and his wife, Pat, live in Loveland with their dog, Zeus. They enjoy traveling, cooking, reading, and skiing. Both of them are actively involved in their church, assisting with adult ministries. Barry is the chairman of the church endowment investment committee.Their four adult children live throughout the United States, from Cincinnati to Oregon.
Michael D. Yannucci, CFP®
Mike first joined Miccoli & Associates as a student intern in early 2005. Since then, he has earned his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification and also attained his FINRA Series 7 and Series 63 securities registrations (through Commonwealth Financial Network®) and his Ohio life and health insurance license. Maintaining these licenses and registrations requires participation in continuing education programs. These programs help keep Mike up to date on current industry trends as well as keeping him informed of any potential changes on the horizon.
As an investment advisor representative of Commonwealth Financial Network®, Mike performs investment research, as well as portfolio design and implementation. In addition to that, he works closely with clients on any service related needs.
Mike was born and raised in Piqua, Ohio. He moved to Cincinnati to attend Xavier University. Upon graduating from Xavier with a degree in finance, he joined Miccoli & Associates full-time. Mike lives in Mason with his wife and three daughters. When there is a break from kid's activities, he enjoys playing golf or supporting local sports teams.
Connie M. Carroll
Connie joined Miccoli, Ahr & Associates in 2013. After graduating from the University of South Carolina, she worked in many facets of the criminal justice system and as a substance abuse counselor. After devoting 15 years as a stay-at-home mother to her two children, she joined Miccoli, Ahr, and Associates. She assists both Pete and Barry in the day-to-day operations of their businesses and has become a valuable resource to Pete, Barry, and their clients.
Connie is a native of South Carolina and has lived in Loveland with her husband, Brian, and two children for the past 13 years. Connie enjoys spending time with friends and family, practicing yoga, reading, and traveling as much as possible.
Lisa R. Miccoli
Lisa has been involved in the financial field for more than 17 years, 15 of which have been with Miccoli & Associates. Lisa has worked closely with Pete and his clients in every facet of the business, from customer service and account establishment to research and human resources. She received her BA in international business with a minor in economics from University of Cincinnati in 1981. In 1997, while employed with Miccoli & Associates, she received her MSW from University of Cincinnati. Soon after, she achieved her LISW.
Lisa and Pete have two wonderful children, who are extremely active. Lisa serves on several boards for volunteer and school organizations. When possible, she enjoys traveling with her family, painting, writing, and reading.
